Better Homes & Gardens Replacement Cushions — Custom Cut, Any Series
The magazine-brand patio line Walmart has carried and rotated for years — Azalea Ridge, River Oaks, Brookbury and the hanging egg chairs. The frames outlive the fabric; official cushions disappear with the season. Replacement cushions cut to your measurements, factory-direct.

What Better Homes & Gardens Outdoor Actually Is — The Walmart Line
Better Homes & Gardens is a magazine brand — the line sold as “Better Homes & Gardens Outdoor” at Walmart (and occasionally Sam’s Club) is licensed patio furniture, not a furniture manufacturer’s catalog. Licensed lines live and die by the retail calendar: Azalea Ridge dining sets, River Oaks swivel gliders, Brookbury sectionals and Lantis egg chairs each ran a season or two, then rotated out. When a series retires, its cushion sets retire with it — Walmart stocks generic 24×24 deep-seat pads for what is selling now, not for what you already own.
What a custom mill adds is everything the shelf doesn’t do: a single lost dining pad without buying a full set, exact sizes for a frame that no longer matches any chart, 119 fabrics at one flat rate, and foam grades you pick by density. Nothing here is cut until your numbers are confirmed.

Published Sizes — What the Listings Actually State
| Series | Piece | Size (as published) | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Azalea Ridge | dining chair seat cushion | 22.44″W × 22.36″D × 4.4″ thick | Walmart product listing |
| Azalea Ridge | dining chair back cushion | 22.44″W × 22.83″H | Walmart product listing |
| Azalea Ridge | 3-seat swing canopy | 82 × 48 (canopy, not seat pads) | third-party cushion maker |
| Brookbury | sectional back cushion | 24.4″W × 7.09″ thick | official spec (reseller listing) |
| Brookbury | seat pads it ships with | 24 × 24 deep-seat class | Walmart’s own replacement line |
| River Oaks | swivel glider seat area | 20.12″W × 23.62″D frame spec; cushion ≈5″ thick | Walmart listing (frame, not pad) |
| Egg chairs (Lantis) | seat/back cushions | not published — frame only (43 × 43 × 77 with stand) | Walmart listing |
Transcribed from Walmart product listings and the spec sheets resellers republish (checked October 2026). Note the pattern: 22.44, 23.62, 24.4 — decimal inch conversions of metric design, which is why universal pads never quite sit right. Treat every figure as a reference to measure against: your tape measure is the number we cut to.
The Series, One by One
Azalea Ridge — Dining, Swings and Sectionals
The most-searched BH&G patio family: a 5-piece dining set (four chairs and a table), glider benches, a 3-seat swing and sectional seating. The dining seats are near-squares — 22.44 × 22.36 × 4.4 inches as listed — with separate 22.44 × 22.83 backs. The 3-seat swing uses three chair-style pads with curved outer seats and a zippered fill, plus an 82 × 48 canopy that fades years before the frame tires. We cut seats, backs and swing pads to your numbers in one production run so every piece matches.
River Oaks — Swivel Gliders
Sold as sets of two swivel gliders (and inside the 5-piece conversation set), River Oaks chairs list a 20.12 × 23.62-inch seat area with cushions around 5 inches thick. Two pieces per chair — a seat pad and a back pad — both of which flatten under seasons of rain and sun. Replacements are cut to your measured seat frame, not to the listing’s overall chair dimensions.
Brookbury — Deep Seat Sectional Dining
The wicker sectional dining line: sofa modules around 78.74″ wide with 24.4″-wide back cushions a plush 7.09″ thick, plus ottomans and benches. Walmart’s own generic BH&G 24 × 24 deep-seat replacement pads are sold to keep this class alive — evidence of both the demand and the limit of the generic route: modules and corner pieces still need real numbers.
Egg Chairs — Lantis and Its Siblings
The BH&G hanging egg chairs (Lantis in tan or grey wicker, 43 × 43 × 77 inches with stand) list the chair, never the cushions — seat pad, back pad and headrest sizes are unpublished. Universal egg pads exist, but the fit is luck. The reliable route is three measurements off the frame itself: interior width at the widest point, seat depth front to back, and back height to the rim. With those three numbers we cut a pad set that actually fills the shell.
Measure Your Set — Three Numbers, One Photo
- Width across the seat frame — inside arm to inside arm, frame edge to frame edge wherever the wicker is bare. The frame, not the old pad, whenever there is a choice.
- Depth front to back — the listing’s 23.62″ seat depth is a chair spec; your pad depth is its own number. Measure the old pad flat if the frame curves.
- Thickness at the seam — the side edge, not the domed top. Azalea Ridge seats ran 4.4″; River Oaks around 5″. Record to the nearest quarter inch; the order forms take eighths.
- One photo, straight-on — settles every question the order desk would otherwise call about. The same routine works for every series with no chart at all.
Fabric Options — 119 Fabrics, One Flat Rate
Every fabric on the list prices the same, so the choice is touch and duty, not markup. For patio sets that live outside, the solution-dyed acrylic (Sunbrella-class) line is the standard — fade-stable through summers of UV and quiet under rain. Tech Fabric (waterproof, wipe-clean) suits covered porches and kids; Cotton Linen and Premium Velvet are indoor rooms. Whichever you pick, the price of your Azalea Ridge seat pad does not move.
Pricing — estimated starting at
| Piece | Size basis | Estimated price* |
|---|---|---|
| Azalea Ridge dining seat | 22.44 × 22.36 × 4.4, 50D foam | $148 |
| Brookbury deep seat pad | 24 × 24 × 4.3, 50D foam | $163 |
| River Oaks swivel seat | 20 × 23 × 5, 50D foam | $143 |
| Egg chair base pad | 22 × 20 × 4, 50D foam | $135 |
*$45 make-base per piece + area at per-sq-ft rates ($22.04/sq ft for 50D at 4″, fabric flat at $7.43/sq ft — every one of the 119 fabrics the same rate). The configurator above figures your exact numbers live; in 65D the same Brookbury pad runs ≈ $191. Seats-and-backs sets are per-piece multiples, so a four-chair Azalea Ridge rebuild is four seats plus four backs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which Better Homes & Gardens series I have?
Three checks: the white label under the seat frame or inside an arm for the series name; your Walmart order history (series name and item number survive there even years later); and the geometry — decimal-inch cushions like 22.44 and 23.62 mark the metric-designed Walmart era. Photos settle the rest.
Do you make cushions for all BH&G patio series?
Yes — Azalea Ridge, River Oaks, Brookbury, the egg chairs, and every series Walmart rotated out without ever publishing a chart: Englewood Heights, Clayton Court, Fairglen, Hillcrest, Delahey, the Lake series, Mika Ridge. Published sizes are our reference; unpublished pieces are routine — your three measurements and one photo. We are an independent workshop, not affiliated with the brand.
What size are Better Homes & Gardens replacement cushions?
As listed: Azalea Ridge dining seats 22.44 × 22.36 × 4.4 with 22.44 × 22.83 backs; Brookbury back cushions 24.4 wide × 7.09 thick on 24 × 24 deep seats; River Oaks seat areas 20.12 × 23.62 with roughly 5-inch pads. If your tape disagrees with any of it, your tape wins and we cut to it.
How much do BH&G replacement cushions cost?
From a $45 make-base plus area at per-sq-ft rates: an Azalea Ridge dining seat (22.44 × 22.36 × 4.4, 50D) estimates at $148, a Brookbury deep-seat pad at $163. Every fabric prices flat, so fabric choice never moves the number. Sets are per-piece multiples — replace the one worn seat or the whole set, same math.
Can you replace the cushions on a BH&G egg chair?
Yes. The Lantis egg chairs list the frame (43 × 43 × 77 with stand) but never the cushions, so we work from the shell: interior width at the widest point, seat depth, back height to the rim — plus how thick you want the pad. A typical base pad (22 × 20 × 4, 50D) estimates at $135; back pad and headrest cut to match.
How long do custom cushions take?
Made to order in 4–7 business days on the standard lane, 3–5 on the rush lane when the season is biting, then 3–6 weeks shipping to your door. Straight rectangles like these seat pads run toward the fast end of the making window.
