The Miramar line at a glance

Miramar is a tapered-frame Martha Stewart line from Home Depot, and like Pacific Grove it defeats standard-size shopping: every cushion is a trapezoid. The lounge seat runs 25 inches at the front edge and 23 at the back; the back pad tapers the same way; and the loveseat is a single one-piece seat pad — 49 inches wide in front, 46 behind — with no separate back cushions in the published configuration.

The original supplier listing caused confusion for years by transposing these numbers, so we re-verified them against the source text: front width, back width, depth, thickness — in that order, as printed below. We cut every Miramar piece to that tapered geometry, in cotton linen, tech fabric, or premium velvet, from the bench that ships them.

Type your numbers straight in — quarter-inch decimals included — and the estimate keeps pace as you go. Weekly production covers single seats and backs, complete matched sets, split blocks for multi-seat frames, corner notches to clear trim, and 2-to-8-inch thickness tiers. The per-square-foot formula is the same for every one of them; shape never changes the math.

Wrong series, or a piece missing from the chart? Start from any shape → — your numbers drive the cut.

Two widths on every pad: measuring a taper that must be exact

Every Miramar cushion is wider at the front edge than at the back — 25 against 23 inches on the lounge pieces, 49 against 46 on the one-piece loveseat seat. That spread is not a tolerance; it is the geometry of frames that flare outward from backrest to seat rim. Measuring one width and averaging the difference produces a pad that fits at one edge and gaps at the other, so take both readings — front rim, then back rim — and record them in the order the chart lists them.
The loveseat is the line’s one-piece statement: a single 49 × 25 seat pad spanning the whole bench, published without separate back cushions. A pad that size invites flipping front-to-back to even out sun fade, but the taper gives the trick away the moment the wider edge lands at the narrowed rear of the frame. Before the old pad leaves the frame, tape-mark its front edge — orientation is the one detail a width-by-depth listing cannot carry for you.
The chaise runs the same logic at full length: 23.5 inches wide and 75 long as one integrated piece, seat and back sewn together rather than stacked. Across 75 inches, small measuring slips accumulate into a visible misfit at the fold line. Measure the front width, the rear width, and the total length in one session, while the old pad still lies flat on the frame it was built for.
A final note from the original listings: Miramar backs were offered with an optional single button — one tuft, not the four-button grids some other lines use. The chaise and loveseat, published as one-piece pads, carry no buttons at all, which keeps the taper’s diagonal lines unbroken across the face. If you add the button on a rebuilt lounge back, keep it on center; off-center tufting on a tapered panel pulls the visible seam sideways.

Lounge Chair (seat + back, tapered)$309$316$338
Loveseat (one-piece tapered seat)$283$291$315

Estimated pricing — per complete piece, all cushions included, made to order. Nothing is cut until the final quote is confirmed with you. Every cover closes with a zipper and removes for washing.

For comparison: U.S. custom-configurator specialists’ 2026 listings for made-to-order cushions in common sizes (16×16 through 24×24) run roughly $71–$119 before shipping — and most only reveal that price after a quote request. The pricing math is right on the page — every dollar of the estimate traces back to a dimension you can measure.

Measure before you order

Measuring a patio chair seat deck edge to edge for a custom patio cushion — width and depth to the nearest quarter inch

Set aside three minutes with the measuring guide — on Miramar, measure both edges of every pad (front and back width). The 2-inch taper is why rectangle replacements bunch at the back.

Closest Martha Stewart neighbors in the measured database: Lily Bay (the Lily Bay five-piece set) and Palm Cove (the Palm Cove group) — each with its own dimension chart.

Fabric options

Same exact-fit dimensions, every fabric one price. Three fabric families cover most projects — all fabrics, one price: breathable cotton linen for covered spots, tech fabric for weather, premium velvet for indoor polish.

Is your set really Miramar?

Check three things: (1) the white label under the seat frame or inside the arm — model numbers usually start with a supplier code like GLD or THD; (2) your Home Depot order history or the original manual; (3) a tape measure — every pad tapers 25" front to 23" back, and the loveseat seat is a single 49"/46" one-piece pad. Our full measuring guide walks you through it.

Frequently asked questions

The frames are tapered: seats run 25" at the front edge and 23" at the back. We cut both widths to your measurements — that’s the only way a tapered pad lies flat.

The published configuration is a single one-piece tapered seat pad (49" front / 46" back) with no separate backs listed. If your frame has back pillows, measure them and we’ll cut to your numbers.

Yes — ship us your old cover or send measurements of each piece, and we replicate it exactly, taper included, in any fabric.

Budget 309 at the low end and 338 at the top for the lounge chair (complete, all cushions) across 35D to 65D foam densities — every fabric, one price. Your confirmed quote precedes any cutting.

Nothing is cut until you order. Plan on a 4-7 business-day make-and-ship window — production spans 4–7 business days, and a 3–5 business-day rush covers most fabrics.

Yes. Include a photo of your furniture, and of the original pads if you kept them, with the quote request; we verify the figures against the Miramar chart before cutting starts.
