Broyhill Outdoor Replacement Cushions — Custom Cut, Any Series
The patio line Big Lots built its furniture aisle on — Eastlake, Biltmore, Ashford, San Marino, Pembroke. The 2024 Chapter 11 emptied the channel; the frames on your porch didn’t notice. Replacement cushions cut to your measurements, factory-direct.

What Broyhill Outdoor Actually Is — The Big Lots Years
Broyhill is a century-old North Carolina furniture name that arrived at big-box retail the hard way: the brand’s parent went through bankruptcy in 2019, and Big Lots bought the rights to the Broyhill name. Big Lots then made it the anchor of its furniture business — trade press reported the label growing into a $750-million brand at its peak — including a patio line sold exclusively through Big Lots: Eastlake wicker, Biltmore seating sets, the Legacy Ashford sectional, San Marino fire-pit dining, Pembroke swivel dining and more.
Then the channel itself failed: Big Lots filed Chapter 11 in 2024 and closed stores by the hundreds; the Broyhill name has since passed to a new owner planning a reboot. For patio owners the practical result is simple — nobody restocks cushions for a dead retail line. No official size chart was ever published for the outdoor pieces, so the route that works is the one a custom mill specializes in: identify the series, measure the piece, cut to your numbers. Nothing here is cut until your numbers are confirmed.
| Know your series | Typical pieces | How to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Eastlake | Wicker sofas and chairs, scroll arms | label under frame; Big Lots receipt |
| Ashford (Legacy) | Cushioned patio sectionals and seating sets | order history; module count |
| Pembroke | Fire-pit dining with swivel chairs | chair height ≈ 37″; marketplace listings |
| San Marino | 7-piece fire-pit high dining sets | high-dining scale; receipt |
| Biltmore | Seating sets and conversation pieces | label or receipt trail |
Series names come from Big Lots product pages and promotional materials still circulating; match yours with the label, the receipt, or a straight-on photo sent to the order desk.

No Official Chart Exists — Here Is What Is Known
An honest starting point: Big Lots never published replacement-cushion dimensions for the Broyhill outdoor line, and the aftermarket never filled the gap with anything but generics. Here is the full record:
| What | Size | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Broyhill outdoor OEM cushions | no published dimensions | no chart exists — measure-first route |
| Market generic deep-seat pads | 24 × 24 × 6 thick | third-party generic, not OEM |
| Market generic dining pads | ≈ 20 × 20 × 4 | third-party generic, not OEM |
| Pembroke dining swivel (chair, not pad) | 23″W × 37″H overall | resale listings — frame spec |
Generic 24 × 24 pads are real products and sometimes land close — but a Broyhill sectional’s modules, high-back swivel pads and fire-pit dining seats were never that size class. When the numbers below are yours, the fit stops being luck.
Broyhill Pieces We Cut For
- Deep-seat seat and back sets — the 24 × 24 × 6 class so many Broyhill conversation sets use; seats and backs cut in one run so every module matches.
- High-back swivel dining pads — Pembroke-style chairs: a seat pad plus a tall back pad (a 24 × 20 × 5 back estimates at $148 in 50D).
- Sectional modules — Ashford and Eastlake runs measured piece by piece; corner, armless and ottoman blocks each get their own numbers.
- Fire-pit dining chairs — San Marino high-dining seats, sized off the frame rail, not the table height.
- Loveseat and bench runs — long single-piece cuts are routine here, whatever the Big Lots layout was.
- Swivel glider and rocker pads — rounded-back frames welcome; send the photo and we template the curve.
Measure First — Three Numbers, One Photo
- Width across the seat frame — rail to rail wherever the wicker is bare. On sectionals, number the modules (tape a letter under each) and measure every one; modules that look identical often differ by an inch.
- Depth front to back — front rail to the back of the seat area, old pad measured flat where the frame curves.
- Thickness at the seam — the side edge, not the domed top. High-back pads also need their height, rim to seam.
- One photo, straight-on — with the three numbers it settles series, shape and every question the order desk would otherwise call about.
Fabric Options — 119 Fabrics, One Flat Rate
Every fabric on the list prices the same, so the choice is touch and duty, not markup. For sets that live outside, the solution-dyed acrylic (Sunbrella-class) line is the standard — fade-stable through summers of UV and quiet under rain. Tech Fabric (waterproof, wipe-clean) suits covered porches and kids. Whichever you pick, the price of your deep-seat pad does not move.
Pricing — estimated starting at
| Piece | Size basis | Estimated price* |
|---|---|---|
| Dining chair pad | 18 × 17 × 3, 50D foam | $103 |
| Deep-seat pad | 24 × 24 × 6, 50D foam | $173 |
| Deep-seat pad, high density | 24 × 24 × 6, 65D foam | $191 |
| High-back swivel back pad | 24 × 20 × 5, 50D foam | $148 |
*$45 make-base per piece + area at per-sq-ft rates ($24.56/sq ft for 50D at 6″, $28.95 for 65D; fabric flat at $7.43/sq ft — every one of the 119 fabrics the same rate). The configurator above figures your exact numbers live. Sectional rebuilds are per-piece multiples, so you can replace one sun-beaten module or the whole run.
Frequently asked questions
Can you still buy Broyhill outdoor replacement cushions?
Not through the original channel. Big Lots filed Chapter 11 in 2024, closed most of its stores, and the Broyhill outdoor line was a Big Lots exclusive — nobody restocks cushions for it. What remains at retail is generic 24 × 24 deep-seat pads. Exact-fit replacements now come from measuring: your three numbers, one photo, and a workshop that cuts to them.
How do I know which Broyhill outdoor series I have?
Check the label under the seat frame first, then your Big Lots receipt or order history — Eastlake, Biltmore, Ashford, San Marino and Pembroke names appear on both. Failing those, a straight-on photo to the order desk settles it; the piece types (fire-pit dining, high-back swivels, scroll-arm wicker) map to the series list above.
What sizes do Broyhill outdoor cushions come in?
There is no official chart — Big Lots never published cushion dimensions for the line. Generic deep-seat pads run 24 × 24 × 6 and dining pads about 20 × 20 × 4, but those are market sizes, not Broyhill specs. We cut to your measured numbers instead, which is the only route that fits modules, high backs and fire-pit seats.
How much do Broyhill replacement cushions cost?
From a $45 make-base plus area at per-sq-ft rates: a dining pad (18 × 17 × 3, 50D) estimates at $103, a 24 × 24 × 6 deep-seat pad at $173, $191 in 65D. Every fabric prices flat, so fabric choice never moves the number.
Do you make cushions for Broyhill swivel chairs and fire-pit sets?
Yes — high-back swivel dining chairs get a seat pad plus a tall back (a 24 × 20 × 5 back estimates at $148), and San Marino-style fire-pit chairs are sized off the frame rail. Rounded-back frames are welcome: send the photo and we template the curve.
How long do custom cushions take?
Made to order in 4–7 business days on the standard lane, 3–5 on the rush lane when the season is biting, then 3–6 weeks shipping to your door. Straight rectangles like these seat pads run toward the fast end of the making window.
