The Cambridge line at a glance
Cambridge is a complete Hampton Bay seating family from Home Depot — lounge chair, loveseat, sofa, ottoman, and its flagship: the chaise-sofa, a four-seat hybrid whose chaise deck runs a full 54 inches deep on the end. Every piece sits on a slim, uniform 4-inch profile, which keeps the line tailored but unforgiving: a 5" substitute lifts you off the arm height and looks wrong immediately.
We cut every Cambridge piece to the original factory dimensions below — including the eight-cushion chaise-sofa set — in cotton linen, tech fabric, or premium velvet, made and sent by the same workshop.
Check three things: (1) the white label under the seat frame or inside the arm — Hampton Bay model numbers usually start with a supplier code like GLD or THD; (2) your Home Depot order history or the original manual; (3) a tape measure — a 54"-deep chaise deck on the end of a 4-seat sofa, all on a uniform 4" profile — Cambridge’s two signatures in one piece. Our full measuring guide walks you through it.
Living with an eight-cushion centerpiece
The Cambridge chaise-sofa is the piece the whole line orbits: three standard seat pads, one outsized chaise deck, four backs — eight cushions in a single frame. That 24 x 54-inch chaise deck deserves its own respect; at 54 inches long it runs four inches longer than the deck of the Kampar chaise, itself a famously oversized piece, making it one of the longest single seat pads in the Hampton Bay range we chart.
Eight pads need a little logistics. When a delivery arrives, sort by the numbers before anything goes on the frame: seat pads are 26 inches deep, backs 19 — same 24-inch width, so depth is the discriminator. Lay the four backs out left to right, drop in the three 26-inch seats, and the 54-inch deck can only go one place. Photograph the finished layout once; future-you, flipping cushions for cleaning, will thank present-you.
Practical notes for the big pad: at 54 inches it clears most doorways flat but turns diagonal in tight halls, and for seasonal storage it stands on edge against a wall in little more floor space than a chair. If the chaise end is your everyday seat, consider ordering a second chaise-deck cover in a contrasting fabric from the same book — the deck is the one pad that defines the whole sofa’s look, and a spare cover is the cheapest makeover a chaise-sofa can get.
And because every Cambridge piece — chair, loveseat, sofa, chaise-sofa — sits on the same 4-inch pads, the line mixes freely: pull the lounge chair up to the sofa end for a conversation cluster and every seat stands at matching height, or run the chaise-sofa alone as the deck’s only seating with nothing looking orphaned. Few lines offer that kind of piece-by-piece expansion with the silhouette staying consistent across every addition.

Measure before you order
Give it three minutes with our measuring guide — especially on the chaise-sofa: measure the chaise deck from the back hinge to the footrest edge (54") separately from the standard 26" seat decks.
Closest Hampton Bay neighbors in the measured database: Beverly (the Beverly sectional) and Kampar (the Kampar six-piece set) — each with its own dimension chart. The complete measured range lives on the Hampton Bay replacement cushions page.
Fabric options & estimated pricing
