How to Measure a Camper Cushion

Pull every cushion and measure the platforms — benches, backs, berths — recording front and back widths on any piece that tapers.
Notched wheel-well pieces and corner berths: make a paper template of the outline and send it with the numbers; the notch is a dimension, not a detail.
Backrests: measure as they fold flat onto the seats — the bed configuration is what the piece must serve.
Choose density by how the rig is used: 50D for weekend campers, 60D–65D for full-timing and nightly dinette-bed duty.

Fabric: Plan for Spills, Not Weather

Inside a sealed cabin the enemies are spills and humidity, not rain and UV. Tech Fabric — waterproof, wipe-clean — is the default for dinettes and high-traffic seats; breathable Cotton Linen suits dry sleeping berths if you prefer natural fiber. The foam is the long-term decision: sit-cycles and static sleeping loads are what kill RV foam, and 50D is the honest minimum, 60D for full-timing (the density logic is unpacked in our high density foam guide).
