The Palm Canyon line at a glance
Palm Canyon is a firepit-oriented Hampton Bay line from Home Depot: deep dining chairs, tapered firepit chairs built to face the flames, and a chaise that takes the opposite approach from most lines — a full 74-inch length on a slim 3.5-inch profile, made for lying low by the fire rather than sinking in.
The firepit chairs carry this line’s trap: their pads are tapered, 23 inches at the front and 21 at the back, so rectangle replacements never lie flat. We cut every Palm Canyon piece to the original geometry below — tapers and slim profiles included — in cotton linen, tech fabric, or premium velvet, built by the workshop that ships them.
Check three things: (1) the white label under the seat frame or inside the arm — Hampton Bay model numbers usually start with a supplier code like GLD or THD; (2) your Home Depot order history or the original manual; (3) a tape measure — a 74" chaise on a low 3.5" profile, and firepit chairs whose pads taper 23" front to 21" back. Our full measuring guide walks you through it.
Built for a fire pit: slim chaise, box-pillow dining, tapered chairs
The firepit chair is the reason this line exists. Its pads taper from 23 inches at the front to 21 at the back because the chair itself angles inward, ringing a fire pit with every line of sight on the flames. When those pads flatten, the chair loses its geometry before anything else — a firepit chair with dead foam tips you toward the fire instead of facing it. And fire pit sets live harder than patio sets: ember sparks, smoky air, and marshmallow duty are a normal weekend here.
The chaise takes the opposite approach to every other Hampton Bay chaise we list. Where most run 5 to 5.5 inches of foam, Palm Canyon’s carries 3.5 — the slimmest chaise seat in our database — stretched over a full 74-inch one-piece with a 48-inch seat depth. The posture is low, long, and beach-lounger rather than sink-in. The dining back is its own construction: a 20 × 20 box pillow, firm-edged rather than a soft bustle, which is why tired Palm Canyon dining sets still look square-shouldered. The dining chairs carry their own headline spec — a 21 × 25 seat on 5-inch foam, deep for a dining piece, and the reason a Palm Canyon dining set doubles as after-dinner lounging in a way most dining groups cannot.
Fabric around fire deserves a deliberate choice. Tight canvas weeps a spark better than plush or looped piles — our Axroma Canvas line is the practical call — and dark grounds hide the soot and smoke staining a fire pit set absorbs weekly. Claret and Deep brown are the two olefins most often chosen for exactly this reason; study the fabric close-ups in the configurator first when the fire pit is the centerpiece of the yard. Seasonal note: fire pit sets collect smoke and ash even when the foam is fine, and if the set winters in a shed, do not bag the cushions until they are bone-dry — a slightly damp pad sealed in October is a mildew experiment by April.

Measure before you order
The three-minute version, with our measuring guide — on the firepit chairs, measure both edges of the seat (front and back width); on the chaise, confirm the full 74" length and the slim 3.5" thickness.
Closest Hampton Bay neighbors in the measured database: Redwood Valley (the Redwood Valley firepit chair) and Laurel Oaks (the Laurel Oaks pair) — each with its own dimension chart. The complete measured range lives on the Hampton Bay replacement cushions page.
Fabric options & estimated pricing

Frequently asked questions
By design: 3.5" on a 74" × 24" pad — a low-slung fireside profile, unlike the 5"-plus pads on lounge chaises. Substituting a thicker pad raises you off the recline angle.
The taper: seats run 23" at the front edge and 21" at the back (backs the same). We cut both widths to your measurements — that’s the only way a tapered pad lies flat.
Not published. Measure your old back pad at the edge and send the number; we’ll match it exactly.
The range runs 102–186 for the for the dining chair (complete, all cushions), cotton linen through premium velvet. Final quote sign-off comes before the first cut.
Once your order lands, it enters the cutting queue — a 4-7 business-day make-and-ship window: 4–7 business days is the standard crafting window, 3–5 with rush, plus shipping. Rush turnaround (3–5 business days) is offered on most fabrics.
Yes. Include a photo of your furniture, and of the original pads if you kept them, with the quote request; we verify the figures against the Palm Canyon chart before cutting starts.
