The Woodbury line at a glance

Woodbury is a roomy, conventional deep-seating Hampton Bay line from Home Depot — lounge chair, loveseat and sofa, all on a uniform 5-inch profile. Its one trap is sizing drift between pieces: the lounge seat runs 25 inches, the loveseat seats 26, the sofa seats 25.25 — three widths inside one line, each a quarter-inch to an inch wider than most Hampton Bay series. Eyeball ordering fails quietly here.

We cut every Woodbury piece to the original factory dimensions below — all three widths kept distinct — in cotton linen, tech fabric, or premium velvet, from the bench that ships them.

Check three things: (1) the white label under the seat frame or inside the arm — Hampton Bay model numbers usually start with a supplier code like GLD or THD; (2) your Home Depot order history or the original manual; (3) a tape measure — three different seat widths in one line — 25", 26" and 25.25" — all roomier than typical. Our full measuring guide walks you through it.

The widest pads in the set belong to the loveseat

Here is Woodbury’s strangest fact, and the one most owners never notice until it bites: the loveseat seats, at 26 inches wide each, are the widest pads in the entire set — wider than the lounge chair’s 25, wider even than the sofa’s 25.25. That inverts the usual Hampton Bay arrangement, where the loveseat borrows the chair’s seat width and the sofa follows suit. Woodbury’s loveseat was drawn as a generous two-seater, and its cushions are the proof.

The bite comes on replacement day. A sofa seat pad (25.25″) laid on a loveseat deck (26″) looks plausible in the hand and fails on the frame — three-quarters of an inch of bare deck showing along one edge, a gap the width of a thumb. This exact mismatch happens constantly with inherited and second-hand sets, where previous owners had already mixed pads between pieces. Measuring each pad as you take it off, and labeling it with its piece, is five minutes of prevention.

For a full three-piece refit, the sequence is simple: confirm all three widths (25, 26, 25.25), order every pad in one fabric and one lot so the three widths read as one set, and let the loveseat’s big pads be the visual anchor of the arrangement. A striped canvas across those 26-inch seats gives the set its character; solids let the frame carry the design instead. Either way, the loveseat is the piece guests will fight over.

The backs tell the same scattered story as the seats: loveseat backs run 25.5 inches, while chair and sofa backs share 25 — three widths up front, a near-miss pair behind. It all means Woodbury rewards being the one Hampton Bay line where you genuinely measure everything twice. Sketch the set, write each number next to its piece, and the refit goes from gamble to checklist.

Woodbury cushion sizes — complete chart

>Sofa>Back>3>25 × 19 × 5 (three separate cushions, each 25" wide)

Every Woodbury piece charted. Width, depth, and thickness, in inches.

Qty, in practice: "Qty" is the number of separate cushions — the loveseat takes two 26"-wide seats and two 25.5"-wide backs; the sofa takes three 25.25" seats and three 25" backs.
Width note: the three pieces use three different seat widths: lounge 25", loveseat 26", sofa 25.25". Measure your own pads rather than assuming one number for the set.

Measure before you order

Start with three minutes and our measuring guide — measure each piece separately: the quarter-inch differences between lounge, loveseat and sofa seats are exactly where mis-orders come from.

Closest Hampton Bay neighbors in the measured database: Melbourne (the Melbourne trio) and Fenton (the Fenton line) — each with its own dimension chart. Other frames start at the complete Hampton Bay replacement cushions index.

Frequently asked questions

No — lounge 25", loveseat 26", sofa 25.25". Three widths in one line; measure each piece before ordering.

Slightly: seats run a quarter inch to an inch wider than most series. That’s why generic 24" pads swim on these frames.

Yes — three seats and three backs, each cut individually. Dye-matching across batches is handled as closely as the mill allows; adjacent pieces are best ordered in one lot.

Prices span 319 to 349 for the lounge chair (complete, all cushions) — every fabric, one price across 35D to 65D foam densities. Nothing is cut before the final quote is confirmed.

The clock begins at the cutting table, not before: a 4-7 business-day make-and-ship window — figure 4–7 business days of crafting standard, or 3–5 on the rush line, plus shipping. Rush service — 3–5 business days — covers most of the fabric list.

Yes. Include a photo of your furniture, and of the original pads if you kept them, with the quote request; we verify the figures against the Woodbury chart before cutting starts.
