Hampton Bay & Martha Stewart Cushion Sizes Chart: Dimensions for 31 Collections
Home Depot’s patio aisle runs on two house lines: Hampton Bay and Martha Stewart. This chart consolidates verified cushion dimensions for 31 collections across both — 24 Hampton Bay series plus 7 Martha Stewart collections — 195+ verified sizes in total. Before the tables, three reading notes: (1) all dimensions are in inches, width x depth x thickness, matching how replacement cushions are cut; (2) for loveseats and sofas, the dimension given is per seat cushion, and the piece count is noted; (3) every series row is traceable to a source tier (aftermarket spec pages, Home Depot official listings, or owner measurements), flagged where confidence is lower. If you need context on either brand first, read the Hampton Bay replacement guide or the Martha Stewart replacement hub.
How to Read These Tables
- – Seat = the cushion you sit on. Back = the back pillow or back cushion.
- – T (thickness) = loft. Deep-seating seats run 4-6 inches; dining seats 3-4.5; back pillows up to 7.
- – Trapezoid rows list front width and back width separately — order these as trapezoid cuts, not rectangles.
- – Loveseat seats are almost always two cushions (e.g., Santa Rosa “two @ 28 inches”), not one 56-inch slab. One-piece loveseat cushions exist (Middletown, Kampar) and are marked.

Note the loveseat seats are wider (28) than the lounge chair seats (22) — unusual, and a reason not to assume within-brand consistency. Details on the Santa Rosa page.

Table 2b: Martha Stewart Collections
Martha Stewart is Home Depot’s other patio house line, sold beside Hampton Bay in the same aisles. Its collections follow the same spec-sheet logic — one set of dimensions per series, not interchangeable — so we document them the same way. Five of the seven Martha Stewart collections have full piece-by-piece data below; the Miramar trapezoid set is tabled with the trapezoid series in Table 5. Series pages live under the Martha Stewart replacement hub.

Table 4: Home Depot Official Listing Sourced
The strongest provenance in this chart — dimensions published by Home Depot itself on its own product pages. The Laurel Oaks rows are the one exception: no catalog or listing carries that series, so those two rows are owner-measured references (treat as approximate).
| Series | Piece | Seat W x D x T | Back W x D x T | Note |
| Windsor | Chair/sofa seat | 24 x 24 x 4 | 24 x 22.1 x 6 (pillow) | From HD 6-piece Windsor set description |
| Windsor | Ottoman | 23.1 x 19.1 x 5.5 | — | From HD 4-piece sectional listing |
| Laurel Oaks | Dining chair | 20.25 x 22 x 4.25 | 20 x 19.5 x 4.75 | Owner-measured reference (approximate) |
| Laurel Oaks | Chaise lounge | 26 x 47.75 x 5.5 | 26 x 27.25 x 6.25 | Owner-measured reference (approximate) |
Table 5: Trapezoid Cushion Series
Order these as trapezoid cuts with front and back widths specified — a rectangle will bunch and misalign the ties.
| Series | Piece | Front W | Back W | D | T |
| Miramar (Martha Stewart) | Lounge chair seat | 25 | 23 | 25 | 5 |
| Miramar (Martha Stewart) | Lounge chair back | 25 (top) | 23 (bottom) | 21 (height) | 5 |
| Miramar (Martha Stewart) | Loveseat seat | 49 | 46 | 25 | 5 |
| Pacific Grove | Lounge chair seat | 25 | 22 | 25 | 5 |
| Pacific Grove | Loveseat seat | 49 | 46 | 25 | 5 |
| Pacific Grove | Dining chair seat | 21 | 19 | 21 | 3.5 |
| Palm Canyon | Firepit chair seat | 23 | 21 | 26 | 5 |
| Palm Canyon | Chaise lounge (full length) | 24 | — | 74 | 3.5 (unverified) |
| Mill Valley | Sectional seat | 25 | — | 27 | 6 (x4) (unverified) |
| Mill Valley | Corner wedge | 27 (front) | 72 (back) | 27 | 6 |
Two flags: Palm Canyon’s chaise is a single 74-inch full-length pad (unusual). Mill Valley figures are owner-measured from a forum post and lack a second source — also beware that Lowe’s sells a different “Mill Valley” set made by Pacific Casual; do not mix them up.
Which Series Have No Published Dimensions?
Five series in our research set have no cushion-level dimensions anywhere on the open web: Tacana, Layton Pointe, Benedetto, Salem, and Castle Rock (non-HB reference names). Aftermarket directories list the names but not the numbers. If you own one of these, you measure: width x depth x thickness per cushion, plus front/back widths for any tapered seat. The method is in our how-to-measure guide, and custom cushions builds from your numbers.

Reading the Patterns: What 195+ Verified Sizes Show
Beyond individual lookups, the full dataset reveals patterns worth knowing before you shop:
Thickness clusters by furniture type. Dining seats cluster at 3-4.25 inches (Charlottetown 3.75, Oak Cliff 3.5, Riley 3.5, Laurel Oaks 4.25); deep-seating lounges at 5-6 (the great majority); back pillows run 4-7. If a listing’s thickness falls outside these bands for the furniture type, suspect a mislabeled dimension. The bands hold across both brands — Martha Stewart’s dining sets sit in the same 3-4.25 range as Hampton Bay’s.
Seat depths have a hard floor for deep seating. No documented lounge seat in these tables runs shallower than 21 inches — the range is 21 to 27 across both brands. Universal cushions sold for “deep seating” at 20-22 inches are therefore borderline-to-short for nearly every series here. This one number explains most bad universal-fit experiences on both house lines.
Loveseat construction splits roughly 50/50 between two-seat-cushion designs (Santa Rosa, Oak Cliff, Cambridge, Pembrey, Verrado, Woodbury) and one-piece benches (Kampar 45, Middletown 47.5, Edington glider 48, Melbourne 49-51). The two types are not convertible — a two-cushion frame has a center support rail that a one-piece cushion bridges badly, and vice versa.
Chaise lengths run 42-50 inches on the seat deck (Pembrey 42 the shortest documented, Spring Haven and Kampar 50 the longest), plus full-length single-pad designs (Palm Canyon 74, Pacific Grove 75 — both unverified). Hinge position — where the back folds down onto the seat — is the measurement that makes or breaks chaise replacements, and it varies even at equal lengths.
Trapezoid engineering is consistent: every documented tapered seat narrows by exactly 2-3 inches from front to back (Miramar 25→23, Pacific Grove 25→22, Palm Canyon 23→21). If your measured taper exceeds 3 inches, re-measure — you may be measuring a curved sectional wedge, which follows the Mill Valley corner-wedge pattern instead (dramatic front-to-back difference, cut as a custom wedge).
FAQ
Are Hampton Bay and Martha Stewart cushions one standard size across series?
No. Seat widths across the 31 documented collections range from 18.25 inches (Charlottetown dining, a Martha Stewart set) to 31 inches (Kampar chaise), and thickness runs 3 to 7 inches. Each series has its own specification on both house lines; that is why this chart exists.
How do I measure a cushion if my series is not in the chart?
Measure seam to seam: width across the sewing line, depth front to back, thickness at the edge seam without compressing. For trapezoids, measure front and back widths separately. Full walkthrough: how to measure.
Can I use these dimensions to order from any custom cushion maker?
Yes — these are the OEM frame dimensions, and any made-to-order workshop (including our custom cushions service) can cut to them. Give the series and piece name so the shop can sanity-check against known patterns.
Why do some loveseats show one measurement and others show “x2”?
Hampton Bay made both two-cushion loveseats (two seats side by side, e.g., Santa Rosa 28-inch seats) and one-piece loveseat benches (Middletown 47.5, Kampar 45, Edington glider 48). The chart marks which is which; ordering the wrong style is the most common replacement mistake after size errors.
What is the thickest back pillow in the Hampton Bay range?
Spring Haven’s 7-inch back loft (loveseat, sofa, and swivel chair backs) is the thickest documented — a spec no universal cushion reproduces, and a good example of why brand-specific replacement matters.
