Custom Indoor Cushions, Made to Your Measurements

Factory-direct, cut to your measurements — sofas, benches, chairs, nooks, any room.

Indoor cushions are a family of jobs, not one product: a sofa is block-by-block foam work, a window seat is a built-in measured to the millwork, a dining set is twelve small cushions that must match, a nook wraps a corner. This page is the indoor front door — one hub, every piece, each with its own page and its own measuring logic.

The whole family runs on the same factory promise: your measurements, our cutting tables, one production run per set so every piece shares the same loft and dye lot. Pick your piece below — or go straight to the customizer with indoor fabrics preselected and type your numbers.

*One sofa seat (24 × 24 × 5 in.): $39 make-base + 4.0 sq ft × rate ($17.38/$18.49/$19.62 per sq ft, 5" 50D foam + fabric). Smaller indoor pieces cost less — dining pads from $70, chair backs from $77 — every piece prices on its own area at the same formula.

For comparison: U.S. custom-configurator specialists’ 2026 listings run made-to-order cushions well above formula price once configured — and most only reveal that number after a quote request. We publish the formula above so you can check the math before you order.

How to Measure an Indoor Cushion

  • Measure the deck or slot the cushion lives in — between arms, inside rails, over slats — not the old pad, which has usually shrunk, dished, or lost its loft.
  • Thickness matches the furniture’s design height: dining 2.5–3 inches, sofa seats 4.5–5.5, window seats 3–4 — thicker changes how the piece sits.
  • T-cushion arms and notched outlines get sketched on paper with dimensions labeled — the notch is a dimension, not a detail.
  • Order sets as one run — matched pieces need one dye lot, and fabric ordered later will not match it.

Fabric by the Room It Lives In

Indoor fabric is a room decision: cotton linen for the breathable natural weave in living rooms and nooks; premium velvet for formal rooms and claw resistance; tech fabric where pets, kids and spills rule — waterproof and wipe-clean. On fill, indoor seating grades by hours: 35D dining standard, 45–50D for the daily couch, 60D for mattress duty. The tier logic is unpacked in the fabric guide, and the customizer opens with indoor fabrics preselected.

Frequently asked questions

Do you make indoor cushions in any size?

Yes — every indoor piece is cut to your measurements: sofa blocks, bench decks, window seats, nook corners, dining sets. Nothing is warehoused, so nothing is out of stock, and made-to-order covers standard sizes too — type the standard numbers for the same instant quote.

Which indoor pieces do you not make?

Fully upholstered seats bolted to their frames are a re-upholstery job, not ours — loose cushions are. And freestanding throw pillows are a different product line we do not carry; we make the working parts, seats and backs.

What foam density do indoor cushions need?

By duty: 35D for dining hours, 45D guest-room seating, 50–60D for the daily couch and mattress-duty pieces — density is lifespan, unpacked in our density guide.

Can I replace just the covers or inserts for indoor cushions?

Often, yes — covers when the fabric died but cores rebound, inserts when cores flattened but covers live. The three paths are compared in our covers guide.
