How to Measure a Loveseat Cushion

First decide joined vs blocks: pull the old cushion — one piece with a seam you can feel, or two — and replace like with like; the frame cannot tell you, the old build can.
Measure the deck seam to seam to the nearest quarter inch, and sketch the T-arm notch with dimensions labeled if the seat runs forward under the arms — the full method is in how to measure a T-cushion sofa.
Backs: height, width and loft — order to the frame, not to the flattened old pads, which lost their loft years before the covers wore out.
Foam by duty: 45D for a guest-room loveseat, 50–60D for the daily seat — the front edge is where light foam fails first.

Outdoor loveseats run the same two-seat geometry under woven frames, at deep-seating scale: blocks of 22–28 wide by 23–27 deep with lofted backs, full weather duty.
