How to Measure a Sofa Cushion
- Count seat blocks first — loveseat, sofa, sleeper — and measure each block seam to seam to the nearest quarter inch; adjacent blocks must match or the joins show.

- Backs: height, width and loft; fiber backs lose loft years before the covers wear out — order to the frame, not to the flattened old pad.
